    Hats off to Kristen Triggs for providing me with a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Greece and Turkey for my 60th birthday. I began the pre-planning process with Kristen in December 2023 and traveled in August 2024. Kristen's first order of business was to determine my personal travel preferences and budget expectations. She wanted to know exactly where I wanted to be on my birthday—which was standing atop the Parthenon.

    Kristen created a robust itinerary with a combination of historical sites, superb beaches, and upscale shopping, coupled with a beautiful break for rest at a lovely farmhouse. All of the hotels and Airbnb lodging exceeded my expectations. By March 2024, Kristen provided me with a general itinerary, and by July 2024, I had a very detailed version, allowing me to plan my wardrobe and pack accordingly. Our first stop was in Athens, where our hotel's rooftop restaurant overlooked the entire city, particularly the Parthenon—just as I had hoped. We were within walking distance of the Acropolis and spent a serene day on the island of Hydra, where no cars were allowed. Hydra's black rock beach was memorable, but Astir Beach truly appealed to my "bourgeois" side. Kristen pre-booked my oceanside daybed and umbrella; all we had to do was show up and relax! We flew to Izmir, Turkey, and visited the biblical city of Ephesus. My spiritual side was heightened as I walked the same paths as the Apostle Paul. Kristen had reserved an English-speaking guide who was both knowledgeable and thoughtful—he even shared his umbrella with me the entire time to shield me from the sun. Our trip ended in Santorini, where we stayed at a Cliff of the Rock hotel with sweeping sea views. Santorini was just as magical as the pictures I'd always dreamed of. Even nearly a year later, I'm still glowing from the joy of this experience.

    Kristen went above and beyond, even editing a special photo of me standing at the Parthenon—removing people from the background and turning it into a keepsake I'll treasure forever. She leveraged her connections in the hotel and restaurant industry to enhance the entire trip with thoughtful surprises, including complimentary drinks and welcome gifts.
